States other than California are listed on this page as belonging to one of four categories:
states with anti-SLAPP statutes;
states in which legislation has been proposed or is in progress in the legislature;
states in which anti-SLAPP legislation is advocated; and
states without an anti-SLAPP statute but in which judicial doctrine has expressly addressed SLAPPs.
